Enjoy wildlife viewing as you drive down the scenic Seward Highway.
Day 1 — Anchorage to Seward
- Arrival in Anchorage, Alaska’s largest city located at the base of the Chugach Mountains
- Check into a late model rental vehicle in Anchorage (vehicle provided with unlimited mileage)
- Drive down the beautiful Seward Highway (a National Scenic Byway) from Anchorage to Seward (approx. 2 hour drive)
- Arrive into the picturesque small bayside village of Seward – the gateway to the Kenai Fjords National Park
- Ride behind a sled dog team with a local musher – spend time touring their training grounds while learning about their way of life
- Visit Exit Glacier and the Harding Ice-field

Enjoy a day in the Kenai Fjords National Park
Day 2 — Kenai Fjords Nat'l Park
- Enjoy a full day of wildlife and glacier viewing aboard a high-speed catamaran – explore Resurrection Bay and the Kenai Fjords National Park with a National Park Ranger on board – a deli-style lunch and hot beverages provided
- In the early evening explore the Caines Head Trail where it is common to see Bald Eagles and Marine Wildlife along the shores of Resurrection Bay

Day 3 — Seward to Talkeetna
- Drive from Seward to Talkeetna ( approx. 4 hours of drive time)
- Explore Portage Glacier Valley, known for its display of wildflowers & hanging glaciers.
- Arrive in Talkeetna, located on the south side of Denali – a quaint historical bush town known for its famous bush-plane flights to Denali and mountain climbing community.
- Enjoy a 3.5-hour tour of 50 wilderness river miles, travel by jet boat through the famous Chulitna Gorge while enjoying the majestic scenery of Denali State Park. Visit a local homestead to learn about remote homestead life in Alaska.

Flightsee Denali and the Alaska Range – Land on Ruth Glacier
Day 4 — Talkeetna to Denali
- Take a 1.5-hour Flight-Seeing Tour of Denali and the Alaska Range (glacier landing included)
- Explore the history of Talkeetna on a walking tour and visit the local museum
- Enjoy full mountain views of the Alaska Range and Denali as you drive the beautiful Parks Highway from Talkeetna to Denali (approx. 2.5-hour drive)
- Drive the first 15 miles of the Denali National Park Road to Savage River, where it is common to see Moose, Caribou, Dall Sheep, and Grizzly Bears.
- Enjoy a guided 3-hour ATV Tour exploring the backcountry of Denali – wilderness BBQ meal included

Enjoy wildlife viewing and stunning scenery in Denali National Park
Day 5 — Denali National Park
- Pick up a picnic backpack lunch for your day in Denali National Park
- Watch a Denali Nat’l Park Ranger sled-dog presentation to learn about managing the park during the winter season
- Spend the day exploring Denali National Park. Take the Shuttle Transit Bus for a 6-hour tour. Enjoy extensive wildlife viewing and beautiful scenery at your own pace

Raft the Nenana River – choose from a float trip or a whitewater trip
Day 6 —Denali to Anchorage
- Explore the north side of Denali while looking for wildlife on the Stampede Road
- Take a white-water rafting tour or a scenic float trip down the Nenana River (3-hour tour)
- Drive the Parks Highway from Denali to Anchorage – enjoy another opportunity to explore the many sites on this scenic drive (approx. 4 hours of drive time)
- Look for wildlife while you take a stroll along the scenic Tony Knowles Coastal Trail to explore the Anchorage Coastal Wildlife Refuge
- Return rental vehicle in Anchorage; transportation provided to the Anchorage Airport
