- The Alaska Railroad operates a scenic 470-mile wilderness route between Fairbanks and Seward during the summer season. There is a daily southbound train and a daily northbound train. The Denali Star links Fairbanks and Anchorage, while the Coastal Classic connects Anchorage and Seward.
- The Denali Star Train is split into three segments: Fairbanks and Denali, Denali and Talkeetna, Talkeetna and Anchorage. The Coastal Classic and Denali Star trains offer two service classes: Adventure Class and GoldStar Dome Service.
- The Hurricane Turn Train and Glacier Discovery Train provide day trips during the summer. The Hurricane Turn Train provides a flag-stop service and travels between Talkeetna and the remote homestead communities north of Talkeetna to Hurricane. The Glacier Discovery Train stops at Girdwood, Whittier, Portage, Spencer, and Grandview.
