Flightsee Denali and the Alaska Range
Day 1 — Anchorage to Denali
- Arrival in Anchorage, Alaska’s largest city located at the base of the Chugach Mountains
- Check into a late model rental vehicle in Anchorage (vehicle provided with unlimited mileage)
- Enjoy full mountain views of the Alaska Range and Denali as you drive the beautiful Glenn & Parks Highway from Anchorage to Denali (approx. 4-hour drive)
- Enjoy a visit to a local Reindeer Herd – spend time with a guide as you interact and learn about Reindeer
- Take a 1-hour bush plane flightseeing tour of Denali and the Alaska Range
- Denali area lodging provided
Spend time exploring Denali State Park
Day 2 —Denali National park
- Travel down the Stampede Road for wildlife viewing and beautiful scenery
- Drive the first 15 miles of the Denali National Park Road to Savage River, where it is common to see Moose, Caribou, Dall Sheep, and Grizzly Bears.
- Enjoy lunch at a local cafe in Healy
- Spend time at the Denali Visitor Center and Murie Science Center – Explore the local trails and check for any Ranger Programs that may be available (their schedule is more limited in the fall season).

Enjoy a guided Aurora Viewing Tour
Day 3 — Denali to Fairbanks
- Drive from Denali to Fairbanks (approx. 2-hour drive)
- Visit the small native village of Nenana located on the Nenana River
- Arrive in Fairbanks – Gateway to the Far North and Arctic
- Tour the Museum at the Univ. of Fairbanks – Enjoy presentations & local shows
- Spend the evening in a comfortable lodge to enjoy viewing the Northern Lights – your guide will help with taking photos of the Aurora

Visit the Chena Hot Springs Soaking Pools
Day 4 — Explore Fairbanks
- Explore the Morris Thompson Cultural Center to learn about the diverse native culture & living in the Far North
- Spend some time soaking in the Chena Hot Springs Pools before touring the Ice Museum
- Enjoy a dog sled adventure followed by a visit to the kennels where you can learn about dog mushing and have a chance to cuddle with adorable future dog sled puppies.
- In the evening enjoy a guided Northern Lights Viewing Tour in a heated yurt on top of Charlie Dome located close to the Chena Hot Springs

Enjoy a scenic fall drive on the backroads to Glennallen
Day 5 — Fairbanks to Glennallen
- Enjoy a scenic drive through miles of wilderness from Fairbanks to Glennallen ( approx. 4-hour drive)
- Visit the North Pole and the world’s largest Santa
- Stop to explore the Tangle Lakes Area on the Denali Highway – a common area to see Caribou during the fall season
- Enjoy lunch at the Meier’s Lake Roadhouse – Visit their unique museum

Explore Wrangell St. Elias National Park
Day 6— Wrangell St Elais National Park
- Visit Wrangell St. Elias National Park – Spend time exploring the local visitor center where it is common to have guided walks and presentations
- Spend time in the park on the McCarthy Road – you may decide to drive up to the small village of McCarthy
- Enjoy an evening meal at Lake Louise Lodge located on the shores of Lake Louise

Visit Hatcher Pass in the Talkeetna Mountains
Day 7 — Glennallen to Anchorage
- Drive the scenic Glenn Highway from Glennallen to Anchorage (approx. 3 hours of drive time)
- Enjoy wildlife viewing of Dall Sheep at Sheep Mtn – Stop to view the Matanuska Glacier
- Enjoy a guided tour of a Musk Ox Farm – learn about these unique Ice Age animals – their fine underwool of Qiviut and their historical native relationship in the Far North
- Explore Hatcher Pass, famous for its Wild Blueberries and display of Wildflowers
- Anchorage lodging provided
Look for wildlife along Turnagain Arm
Day 8 — Explore Anchoragee
- Tour Anchorage on the Historical Anchorage Trolley
- Enjoy a scenic drive along Turnagain Arm to the Portage Glacier Valley – Explore the Portage Glacier Valley to enjoy walking trails and wildlife viewing
- Visit the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Park o learn about animal research, conservation and animal care
- Take the Mt Alyeska Tram to the Tramway Cafe for a ride and dine combination tour – Enjoy lunch with a view from the cafe
- Return your rental car, transportation provided to the Anchorage Airport
