Day 1 – Visit the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Park
Day 1 — Anchorage to Seward
- Arrival in Anchorage, Alaska’s largest city located at the base of the Chugach Mountains
- Check into a late model rental vehicle in Anchorage (vehicle provided with unlimited mileage)
- Drive down the beautiful Seward Highway (a National Scenic Byway) from Anchorage to Seward (approx. 2 hour drive)
- Visit a wildlife conservation center to learn about animal research, conservation, and animal care.
- Ride the Mt Alyeska Tram to have lunch with a stunning view of the Chugach Mountains & Turnagain Arm
- Explore the Kenai Wildlife Refuge – Enjoy wildlife viewing
- Arrive into the picturesque small bayside village of Seward – the gateway to the Kenai Fjords National Park

Enjoy a wildlife cruise in Resurrection Bay
Day 2 — Wildlife Tour in Resurrection Bay
- Tour the Alaska Sealife Center, one of Alaska’s most extensive marine wildlife research centers
- Enjoy a four hour Wildlife Cruise aboard a high-speed catamaran exploring Resurrection Bay – A National Park Ranger will be on board to provide information through out the cruise
- Explore the local trails at Exit Glacier and the Harding Icefield

Drive the scenic Seward Highway
Day 3— Seward to Palmer
- Enjoy a scenic drive from Seward to Palmer ( approx. 2.5 hours of drive time)
- Tour a local Reindeer Farm – have the opportunity to interact with and learn about Reindeer
- Explore Hatcher Pass, famous for its Mountain Vistas, Wild Blueberries and display of Wildflowers
- Enjoy a guided tour of a Musk Ox Farm – learn about these unique Ice Age animals – their fine underwool of Qiviut and their historical native relationship in the Far North

Enjoy a guided Glacier Hike
Day 4 — Palmer to Glennallen
- Drive the scenic Glenn Highway from Palmer to Glennallen (approx. 3 hours of drive time)
- Take a guided glacier hike on Matanuska Glacier (no experience necessary)
- Enjoy wildlife viewing of Dall Sheep at Sheep Mountain – where the local rugged mountains and steep slopes provide a protected area for feeding and resting
- Arrive into the small community of Glennallen – the Gateway to Wrangell St. Elias National Park
- Enjoy dinner at the Lake Louise Lodge Cafe located on the shores of Lake Louise

Enjoy a scenic fall drive on the backroads to Fairbanks
Day 5 — Glennallen to Fairbanks
- Explore Wrangell St. Elias National Park; visit the Park Visitor Center, where guided hikes, presentations, and exhibits are available.
- Enjoy a scenic drive through miles of wilderness from Fairbanks to Glennallen ( approx. 4-hour drive)
- Have lunch the Meier’s Lake Roadhouse – visit their Native Museum
- Stop to explore the Tangle Lakes Area on the Denali Highway – a common area to see Caribou during the fall season
- Enjoy exploring the Big Delta State Historical Park located in Delta Junction
- Visit the North Pole and the world’s largest Santa
- Arrive into Fairbanks – Gateway to the Arctic and Far North

Experience Aurora Viewing in Fairbanks
Day 6 — Explore Fairbanks
- Explore the Morris Thompson Cultural Center to learn about the diverse native culture & living in the Far North
- Spend some time soaking in the Chena Hot Springs Pools before touring the Ice Museum
- Enjoy a dog sled adventure followed by a visit to the kennels where you can learn about dog mushing and have a chance to cuddle with adorable future dog sled puppies.
- In the evening enjoy a guided Northern Lights Viewing Tour in a heated yurt on top of Charlie Dome located close to the Chena Hot Springs

Look for wildlife on the Dalton Dirt Highway
Day 7 —Arctic Circle
- Spend the day on a guided Arctic Circle Aurora Drive Adventure
- View the Trans Alaska Pipeline – traverse the Yukon River before crossing over the Arctic Circle
- In the evening spend several hours at a Arctic Trading Post with your guide to view the Northern Lights

Visit Denali National Park
Day 8 —Fairbanks to Talkeetna
- Drive the scenic Parks Highway from Fairbanks to Talkeetna (approx. 4-hour drive)
- Visit the small native village of Nenana located on the Nenana River
- Explore Denali National Park – enjoy wildlife viewing and walking the local trails. Spend some time at the Murie Science Center – Visit the Sled Dog Kennels
- Spend time exploring Denali State Park – enjoy wildlife viewing and local walking trails
- Enjoy a late lunch or early dinner at a Talkeetna Cafe

Flightsee Denali and the Alaska Range
Day 9 — Talkeetna to Anchorage
- Explore the history of Talkeetna on a walking tour and visit the local museum
- Take a 1-hour bush plane flightseeing tour of Denali and the Alaska Range
- Enjoy a scenic drive on the Parks and Glenn Highway to Anchorage (approx. 2-hour drive)
- Explore the north side of Chugach State Park and the Eagle River area – Visit the Eagle River Nature Center
- Return your rental car, transportation provided to the Anchorage Airport
