Far North Backroads & Arctic Experience

Tour Overview

Enjoy exploring the wilderness of the Interior and Far North. This 8-day journey includes traveling the Parks, Richardson, and Glenn Highways on a wilderness circle route. Spend two nights in Talkeetna, Denali and Fairbanks, before heading down the scenic Richardson Highway to the remote community of Glennallen.

Additionally, take a bush plane to the remote native village of Fort Yukon, situated above the Arctic Circle on the Yukon River, and enjoy various activities while traveling through the wild backroads of Alaska.

 

Tour Arrival and Departure

The Far North Backroads and Wilderness Tour starts and finishes in Anchorage. We suggest that you arrive the evening before the first tour day.

Please let us know if you would like help finding accommodation for your arrival day. You can pick up your rental vehicle in Anchorage on your arrival day after 6:00 p.m. without additional charges.
