Day 1 – Drive the scenic Seward Highway
Day 1 — Anchorage to Seward
- Arrival in Anchorage, Alaska’s largest city located at the base of the Chugach Mountains
- Check into a late model rental vehicle in Anchorage (vehicle provided with unlimited mileage)
- Drive down the beautiful Seward Highway (a National Scenic Byway) from Anchorage to Seward (approx. 2 hour drive)
- Tour a historic gold mine and try your luck at gold panning.
- Visit a wildlife conservation center to learn about animal research, conservation, and animal care.
- Arrive into the picturesque small bayside village of Seward – the gateway to the Kenai Fjords National Park

Enjoy a wildilfe & glacier cruise in the Kenai Fjords Nat’l Park
Day 2 — Kenai Fjords National Park
- Enjoy a full day of wildlife and glacier viewing aboard a high-speed catamaran – explore Resurrection Bay and the Kenai Fjords National Park with a National Park Ranger on board – a deli-style lunch and hot
beverages provided
- Explore the scenic Caines Head Trail, which is famous for wildlife viewing and sweeping mountain/water vistas.

Explore the bay-side town of Seward
Day 3 — Explore Seward
- Tour the Alaska Sealife Center, one of Alaska’s most extensive marine wildlife research centers.
- Visit Exit Glacier and the Harding Ice-field
- Ride behind a sled dog team with a local musher – spend time touring their training grounds while learning about their way of life
- Seward lodging provided
Enjoy wildlife viewing on the Kenai Peninsula
Day 4 — Seward to Palmer
- Enjoy a scenic drive from Seward to Palmer ( approx. 2.5 hours of drive time)
- Explore the Kenai Wildlife Refuge – Enjoy wildlife viewing
- Tour the extensive Alaska Native Heritage Center – Enjoy Native Story Telling, Dancers, and Native Game demonstrations as they share their Indigenous heritage and culture
- Explore the north side of Chugach State Park and the Eagle River area.

Visit Hatcher Pass
Day 5 — Explore Palmer
- Spend time at a local Reindeer Farm – have the opportunity to interact with and learn about Reindeer.
- Explore Hatcher Pass, famous for its wild blueberries and wildflower displays. Visit the historic Independence State Mine.
- Enjoy a guided tour of a Musk Ox Farm and learn about these unique Ice Age animals, their fine underwool of Qiviut, and their historical native relationship in the Far North.

Take an ATV wilderness tour
Day 6 — Palmer to Denali
- Drive the scenic Parks Highway from Palmer to Denali (approx. 3.5 hour drive)
- Visit the small village of Talkeetna on the south side of Denali. It is a quaint historical bush town known for its famous bush plane flights to Denali and mountain climbing community.
- Explore Denali State Park – enjoy beautiful scenery and wildlife viewing.
- Enjoy a 3-hour wilderness ATV Tour – Wilderness Dinner Provided

Spend the day exploring Denali National Park
Day 7 — Denali National Park
- Pick up a picnic backpack lunch for your day in Denali National Park.
- Spend the day exploring Denali National Park. Travel on the Shuttle Transit Bus for a 6-hour tour. Enjoy extensive wildlife viewing and beautiful scenery at your own pace.
- Watch a Denali Nat’l Park Ranger sled-dog presentation to learn about managing the park during the winter season.

Travel behind a horse team to a remote wilderness location for a gourmet BBQ Dinner
Day 8 — Explore Denali
- Explore the north side of Denali while looking for wildlife on the Stampede Road.
- Take a white-water rafting tour or a scenic float trip down the Nenana River (3-hour tour)
- Enjoy a 3.5-hour tour in the Denali backcountry traveling in a horse-drawn covered wagon – enjoy a wilderness BBQ gourmet meal (all-you-can-eat dinner)

Drive the scenic Parks Highway
Day 9 — Denali to Anchorage
- Drive the Parks Highway from Denali to Anchorage – enjoy another opportunity to explore the many sites on this scenic drive (approx. 4 hours of drive time)
- Ride the Anchorage Trolley to visit historical locations throughout downtown Anchorage.
- Look for wildlife while you take a stroll along the scenic Tony Knowles Coastal Trail to explore the Anchorage Coastal Wildlife Refuge.
- Return rental vehicle, transportation provided to the Anchorage Airport
